Anxious young performers lined the corridors of Chelsea Studios, battling their nerves in eerie quiet. Strategically coiffed and dressed, they clutch water bottles and study their “sides” — sheets of paper printed with audition lines and songs.

On Broadway, Avenue Q Clocks 1,500 Performances!

On March 4, Avenue Q, which brought home the lion's share of 2004 Tony Awards including Best Musical of the Year, proved it was still the little musical that could, when the show played its 1,500th performance on Broadway at the Golden Theatre. As if that weren't enough, even our Word of Mouth critics gave the show a thumb's up when they revisited the long-running tuner just last month. (Check out their review here!) American Idol Icon Kelly Clarkson Visits Avenue Q
